Bianshi is a stone used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine, in treatment parallel to that of plants. It is credited with longevity.

 

According to history, the famous Chinese Emperor Huang Di would have lived 99 years, an abnormally long life for this period since he reigned from -2697 to -2598. It was then that it was discovered that this longevity was due to the fact that the Emperor was playing an instrument composed of Bianshi. This is why it is called "The stone that sings and heals" - a beautifully poetic name. This stone was no longer used for a long time because it was extremely rare and its extraction complicated.
