Jade

jade.jpg

There are several types of jade, but two are mainly used in making jewelry and other ornaments.

Nephritis, of rather opaque appearance while retaining a certain translucency is very widespread. Indeed there are deposits almost everywhere on the globe.

Jadeite is much more translucent with a glassy tendency, it is also rarer and therefore more precious than nephritis, the main deposits are in Burma.

Its color encompasses a wide range of shades of green, ranging from greenish white to emerald green through the color of apple or spinach, but can also be found in shades of yellow, blue or lilac. Depending on the region, the preference of colors can vary significantly.

In Europe as in northern China it is the dark and intense colors which are the most acclaimed, while the light colors see frankly white will be preferred in South Asia. In all cases, the transparent emerald green remains, wherever you are, the most sought after and the most precious.

In lithotherapy, jade is considered the queen of stones. In fact its virtues are multiple and its energy power is such that it is almost useless to recharge it even in case of intensive use.

The Chinese consider it an essential element to fight effectively against diseases by the fact that it absorbs the harmful effects.

It is established that jade effectively helps against kidney problems, urinary ailments, the flu, canker sores and fights against sweating. It is also known to have virtues for heart disease, it promotes better blood circulation, and strengthens the nervous system. It alleviates migraines and promotes meditation. It refreshes the emotional life and acts in favor of fertility and fertilization. It also acts against renal colic.

More generally, it helps to find and keep inner peace.
